Health Tips for Summer
Often times we fail to realize the impact heat and increased activities during summer have on our bodies. Our fluid intake needs may increase with periods of increased activity or increased heat and humidity. Dehydration can easily sneak up on you with little warning. Night time cramps are a common symptom. As a good rule of thumb, you should drink ½ of your body weight in ounces each day for optimum hydration. For example, If you weigh 160 pounds, you should drink 80 ounces, or 10 large glasses of water, each day.
If you experience any cramping that does not abate with restoring normal hydration, consider minerals. Let us provide a thorough evaluation, and appropriate recommendation for mineral supplement.
